This is a collaboration project I am currently working on:

1 A distant paradise of a planet gets attacked by an ancient evil that a clueless villager has set free from an ancient temple. Only a single man escapes, and the king and queen instruct him to find the royal son, who was left on Earth after an accident. This son (main character) is a member of an e-zine. Three members, beside the prince agree to help.
2 In space, the alien tell in more detail about the plan to free the planet. There is a big party and later the prince and his wife have sex. More of the characters past are revealed.
3 The crew of the ship experiences the dangers of space travel. Many "That's not how relativity and black holes work!" gags.
The grandeur of space is revealed.
4 The ship picks up and SOS, but can not determine the source. Last energy of the ship used to teleport and dock at an alien station that will warp them to the planet. Unfortunately, evil attacks it and the ship is lost in a galaxy of monsters.
5 Adventures in the galaxy of monsters, quite simply.
6 The five adventurers find a hidden retreat for a family of adventurers. The youngest however, must always stay at home. The crew encourages him to help them free the planet from evil.
7 They decide to use an old unstable warp temple to travel to the planet, and so travel to where it is hidden.
Clue; it backfires terribly.
8 They get lost in a surreal labyrinth in a hidden dimension and can't find their way out. Eventually they find a road to a proper warp-zone.
9 There they meet a musical band (strangely reminiscent of a furry version of the Beatles) and finally travels to the planet, although they get separated on the way there.
10 On the planet, our heroes use their newfound powers to put the universe back to normal. It is hinted that the evil entity simply was a misunderstood creature seeking love. The prince grants it a second chance. They who wishes stays on the planet while some (like the prince) returns to Earth.
All ends well!
